This skirt is one of my favorite skirts to wear, but my least favorite to look it. It just gives me a headache with all the white dots.
I love pairing tights with these shoes, it's my new thing (lol). I used to worry all the time what to shoes to wear my tights in (Converse? Vans? Boots?), all those shoes just didn't look right with my outfits. Once I got these shoes, problem solved!
Did you Northeastern people survive the big (not really) snowstorm? I was so happy to have a snow day, but honestly, we could have had school. Oh well.

Review: Colourpop Lippie Stix

Hello everybody!

Sorry about not posting last week, I was sick :( but this week I'm doing something new: a review! Riv and I recently bought new lipsticks from Colourpop and decided to do a joint review on the product. Riv bought five lippies and I only bought one. They were $5 each. 

I bought "bossy".

Here's what it looks like in two different lights and one with flash.

Here's what the packaging looks like:

Riv and I are giving them ratings out ten. We created five categories and each are out of two points.

Color: 2/2 

Texture: 1.5/2

Packaging: 2/2

Price: 0.5/2

Staying power: 1/2

Total: 7/10

I absolutely love this color! Blue tone reds are my favorite. I usually put lipbalm on before I put on lipstick so I didn't think it was drying. Then I tried it without lipbalm and it's not exactly drying, but it's not moisturizing either. Packaging wise, I think it's very cute and pretty. I like how the words reflect light a bit. Also, it smells like vanilla cupcakes, so yay! It stays on pretty well, but it won't last through a meal.

The price, though... $5 for 1g (0.0352 oz) is kind of expensive. It's basically the same price as a Mac lipstick. 

If it was a bit cheaper, I would buy another one.

OOTD: Doing High Knees

Hello everybody!

This winter just keeps on getting colder... I can't wait until summer. I made a not so smart decision by wearing this outfit when it was freezing and snowing outside. But it's okay, I was only outside for a minute (running from the car to school in the morning and from school to the car in the afternoon). I got new knee socks and I really wanted to wear them so... there you are

The part of my legs that weren't covered by the socks were freezing. I know it was just a small part, but still... it was cold... Please tell me warmer weather is on the way. I don't know if I can stand this cold weather any longer!

OOTD: Preppy-ish

Hello everybody!

Happy New Year! I can't believe it's already 2015. Have you made any New Year's resolutions? Here are some of mine:
1. Stop procrastinating - that's going to be a hard one...
2. Be healthier - that includes eating healthier foods and exercising
3. Sleep more on school nights

I like how this look is preppy and edgy. The look overall is a bit more edgy but the blazer adds a touch of preppiness.
